In this position, you will work in conjunction with assigned Invasive 
Services Medical Directors and the VP of Heart and Vascular Services to 
plan, organize and coordinate clinical/fiscal activities of Heart and 
Vascular Invasive Services (HVIS). You will acts as a technical advisor 
and assist with strategic planning and growth of HVIS services. You will 
be responsible for the directing of personnel, performance of 
administrative and public relations functions, and implementation and 
revision of policies, procedures, practices and safety standards.

Qualified applicants will possess a minimum of ten years of clinical 
experience working in a large Interventional Cardiovascular or 
Interventional Radiology department.  Experience managing various 
interventional services in a multidisciplinary setting including EP, 
cardiac intervention, peripheral vascular intervention and neuro 
intervention required.  Minimum of five years of management/leadership 
responsibility in Cardiovascular Services or Interventional Radiology with
strategic planning applications are also required.  Must have prior 
experience with Cardiology or Radiology information systems/computer 
applications.

A Master's degree or PhD in Business Administration, Hospital/Public 
Health Administration, Nursing or Health Science is required.

Overall Responsibilities :

· Bachelors Degree from accredited University or College, or Degree from an accredited Ultrasounds program, or equivalent experience.
· Minimum 3 years experience in a medical device organization or related field e.g., vascular or general surgery or interventional cardiology or radiology, or related hospital based experience.
· RVT and/or ARDMS registered with vascular ultrasound experience preferred.
· No medical conditions shall prevent maintenance of this travel schedule or the ability to conduct training in the hospital operating rooms, surgicenter, and/ or physician office.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Sentara Healthcare, located in the beautiful Hampton Roads Virginia area is currently seeking 
a Full-time PVL Technologist to work at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. 

The  laboratory is accredited in visceral, intracranial, extracranial, peripheral arterial and venous.   
The qualified with RVT/ARDMS certification.  Previous experience of 1-3 years preferred.
