The Imaging department is recruiting for an Imaging Operations
Manager to work under
the direction of the Medical Director and Senior Director and
assist the Supervisors/Lead
Technologists and Clerical Support staff to insure safe, satisfactory,
and timely
patient procedures.
Responsibilities:
~ Managing staffing levels and recommend changes as needed
~ Represent the department by participating in various hospital
committees as assigned
~ Enforce hospital and departmental policies with consistency
and fairness
~ Insure that employee evaluations are completed timely and with
consistency
~ Support Service Excellence standards and continuously strive
for improvement
Requirements:
~ Bachelor's degree in Business, Imaging Sciences, Healthcare
or a related field;
Master's degree preferred
~ Five years supervisory experience
~ Prior PACs and RIS (Meditech) experience is preferred
~ Certification in any of the Imaging Science, i.e., ARRT, NMTCB,
ARDMS, etc
~ Knowledge of all current JCAHO standards relevant to Imaging
Services
~ Understand and enforce the safe use of radiation
~ Superior communication skills (verbal and written) and have
experience with progressive
discipline process
