 The Department: Arizona Western College, in partnership with Yuma Regional
 Medical Center, is developing an associate degree program in Radiologic
 Technology to serve 25 students per class.  The Director will develop the
 program, prepare the self-study for JRCERT, and recruit students during
 2003-2004. Classes are planned to begin Fall 2004.  The program is housed in
 the Division of Human Services which also includes: nursing, child
 development, family and consumer sciences, education, and physical
 education..
 
 TYPICAL DUTIES: Develop, Direct, and administer the Radiology Technology
 Program and be responsible that the program adheres to all applicable
 regulating agencies.
 
 Teach.
 
 May teach evenings and/or weekend utilizing non-traditional delivery methods,
 e.g. Interactive Television or accelerated modules.
 
 Identify student learning outcomes: develop processes and tools for
 assessment; incorporate results in order to modify instruction and materials
 in general education, degree program, course cluster, and/or certificate
 program, in coordination with colleagues
 
 Maintain regular office hours.
 
 Attend and participate in faculty meetings.
 Design and develop curriculum.
 Participate in professional development activities.
 
 Provide support for program faculty.
 
 Participate in student recruitment, placement, advisement, curriculum
 development and serve on college committees.

 We currently have an exciting opportunity as an Imaging Research Associate
 (IRA) in our Waltham, MA, office.  This is a great opportunity for
 talented individuals with medical imaging or clinical research experience
 to apply their expertise to clinical trials.  Perceptive provides
 cutting-edge medical imaging expertise to top biotech, pharmaceutical, and
 medical device companies.
 
 The Imaging Research Associate is responsible for the conversion of
 medical image data into digital form.  This individual will perform
 analysis on medical images for clinical trials.  The Imaging Research
 Associate will also develop and coordinate study related procedures in
 compliance with FDA Regulatory Requirements.  In addition, this individual
 will institute and resolve queries with clinical trial sites and academic
 centers to ensure follow-up on imaging-related issues.  This exciting role
 also is responsible for the validation and maintenance of a database of
 medical images and associated results.
 
 You must have a Bachelor's degree or Associate's Degree (Health Science
 concentration preferred) with equivalent experience. You must also possess
 a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in clinical research or imaging
 related field.
 Exposure to medical imaging or clinical trials is preferred. You must be
 highly proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and
 PowerPoint.  Experience with database applications preferred.
